Dr. Ahmed holds multiple qualifications, including FRCP (Edinburgh) in General Medicine (2006), Certificate of Specialist Training (CCST) in Nephrology and Internal Medicine (2003) from the Royal College of Physicians UK, and a Master of Medical Sciences (MMedSci) from Keele University, UK (2003). His extensive international experience spans multiple countries, having served as a Senior Consultant at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Saudi Arabia (2008-2018), Shifa International Hospital, Pakistan (2006-2008), and North East Wales NHS Trust, UK (2003-2006). He has also held key leadership roles, including Director of Quality King Abdulaziz Medical City, Al Ahsa (2013-2015) and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Shifa School of Medicine, Islamabad (2006-2008). Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in medical education and research, served as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi (2022-2024).
