About Me

Dr. Huma Mamun Mahmud is a highly experienced Nephrologist with many years of medical expertise in nephrology and internal medicine. She has been at SEHA since 2017 and provides comprehensive renal care, specializing in chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis management and electrolyte disorders.
Dr. Mahmud earned her Fellowship in Nephrology (2004) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan after completing her MBBS. She has been involved in clinical nephrology, teaching, and research.
Before joining SEHA, she worked as a Specialist Nephrologist at Life Care Hospital, Abu Dhabi (2014-2017) and served as an Assistant Professor at Dow University of Health Sciences (2011-2014), where she played a key role in medical education and training.
She also gained extensive experience in dialysis therapies and kidney transplantation as a Registrar at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (2004-2008).
